Frequently Asked Questions

Are you properly insured?

Do not assume every tree service is insured. We set ourselves apart by being properly insured. If needed, we are able to provide the documentation directly from our insurance provider.

Do you have plans in place for disaster relief / Storm response?

Yes indeed. We are very experienced in this area and can bring great value to the customers we are contracted with in these times. Everything from the automated phone system to the crews having tarp system materials on board the trucks. Our system works well and we are always improving it. We should be your #1 choice for urgent work.

How far can your aerial lift equipment reach?

This always amuses me as I explain that every job is different and this is a great question. We don’t have to reach the tip top of a tree to maintain or remove it. Our bucket truck has a 60’ Aerial Lift of CT boom on it and is very useful however it can’t access soft or tight areas. On the other hand, our All Access lift can. It also reaches 78 feet to include much side reach. The crew along with the arborist make judgment calls daily on the best equipment for the job.

Brothers' Tree Service LLC (Owner) Does your company work all year round and in foul weather?

Yes, foul weather is part of our skillset. I like to explain how our expenses and bills don’t stop accumulating because of bad weather and we hope our customers are willing to understand that we are well equipped for these days.

Do you offer any financing options?

Yes, we have partnered with Hearth in order to enhance our services we can provide to our valued customers. This would make it possible for customers to develop a means of monthly payments and possibly qualify for 0% interest.

What forms of payments do you accept?

We accept most forms of payment to include: Cash, personal checks, business checks, bank checks, money orders and all major credit cards.

What is the difference between a “ Tree Guy “ and an Arborist?

The difference is that a “ Tree Guy “ may posses knowledge and experience… And a CT licensed arborist has been tested and proven to have knowledge and experience by the state of Connecticut DEEP. Arborists are required to maintain this license with continuing education in the form of credits. This testing and CT law is unique to our state and has been in effect for over 100 years in order to protect our trees and land values. I would describe this test as a 4 part, 6 month bar exam for industry leaders.

How many licensed Arborists are there in CT?

As of 2022 the list has exactly 1000 on it. I am listed at #60 in alphabetic order.

How can a small business offer 24/7 emergency services?

This is a challenge for any business. Over the years customers find that our family owned business of 3 partnership brothers adds value and this scenario is no different. We are 3 highly skilled professionals that can deploy with our equipment and become an instant crew on the most challenging jobs and times.
